I'm pretty sure that throughout time, and now spirituality is the explanatory band-aid placed over the gaps in our objective scientific understanding. Given that the understanding of the brain still has a long way to go its not surprising that spirituality is ascribed to its phenomenal properties. But I know that as our understanding of the brain piles on, the territory occupied by spiritual description will gradually diminish, but this will only enhance our appreciation of these experiences.

Great account, thanks for sharing.For me it was eternity in an instant, the knowing of all knowing intuitively.A timeless peace.The BIG question is how do we enable others to know this?If we could everyone would know exactly what to do.

great talk redlite. Opens up some interesting thoughts. it made me think of a friend who was very ill with a high fever and fell into a mind state where small geometric shapes were telling/making him lie in different positions on his bed. He claimed he was completely complient with the demands of the shapes because he felt they were a 'higher power' than himself. Incredible! I watched jill's talk and its incredible, she goes a bit too hippy at points for me but amazing experience! Bravo.

God, you're friggin' amazing! Watched this several times, but still a lot goes over my head. One thing that happened unexpectedly is that I became and am very attracted to you and would love to make love with you all night. Am I the only one - or only guy - who's experienced this reaction?
